A void. Darkness. The nothingness of the place settled on her fur like a cloud. She stood relaxed, dimly aware of a pins-and-needles sensation that was spreading through her body. Yet she was content to simply stand still and gaze into the void. Until, after a time that could have been years or seconds in that place, she felt a growing awareness of a presence behind her. It barely registered at the edge of her subconscious, but it was enough to make her shrug off the stillness of her environment and turn around.

There was a dull thump as the room key and map slipped from Finnian's grasp and fell to the musty carpet. He raced over to the side of Codie's bed, staring at her unmoving figure. For a moment, his breath caught in his throat, until a slight twitch and a groan alerted him to the fact that Codie was still alive. A sigh of relief escaped from his chest. Then, steeling his courage, Finnian turned around to get a better look at the intruder.

Decided to procrastinate schoolwork ~~which I would have done anyways lol~~ for the sake of finishing up Gwyneth's ref. Since my first round isn't even canon anymore, I took the liberty of making her colors look a little nicer and less Daphne-esque (thank god)

The character has become directly relevant to your character's plot, and is actively located at the hotel. Your opponent may feel that it is therefore necessary to include her, to whatever degree. Please, however, do not try to discourage them from doing so by saying that she is minor when she appears to become fairly important.

Also, please do not change the colors on the reference, or make any alterations. This reference will be like any other character reference, and may therefore not be altered once it is submitted.

The problem is, we don't want you saying anything that could influence what they do in their round that could possibly affect their score. Whether your opponent chooses to use the character or not, and to what degree, is entirely their decision. It's not a matter of being optional, it's a matter of their discretion.

Once her reference is accepted, you cannot alter the reference as far as design or color.
